When she built Dream Katcher Lodge in 2004, Mili’s vision was to establish a premier boarding facility designed in such a manner that she could leave her own “kids” with complete confidence in their comfort, care, and safety. Thanks to a beautiful facility and especially to a truly INCREDIBLE staff-family, that vision continues to be realized daily.
A long-ago transplanted Yankee from upstate New York, Debbie worked for most of her previous career in the human medical field. Married for 40+ years, she has a grown daughter and granddaughter. She and her husband share their home with 3 rescue dogs, one rescue cat, and a bird. She enjoys reading, camping, and traveling.

Fran and her husband have three grown children, four grandchildren, and one fur baby. She is full of common sense and a sense of humor and loves animals and people. They have had many dogs and cats during their lives and are animal lovers. Their current baby is a small black lab mix from the Blount County animal shelter. Fran has been on staff at Dream Katcher Lodge since its opening in 2004.
Whitney is studying to be a Social Worker, but has worked with animals for several years. She and her husband share their home with a coonhound and two cats. When not studying or working, Whitney likes to cook, hike, and camp.
Kat is originally from Austin, Texas, and moved to Knoxville in 1997. She’s been an animal lover since she could crawl, and is presently “Mom” to two sweet and funny felines. She is a former CNA, and her goal is to become a veterinary technician…to realize her dream of helping animals and their people.
Heather is a graduate of UT-Martin, with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Biology. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, and playing with her Golden Retriever, Hazel.
