When she built Dream Katcher Lodge in 2004, Mili’s vision was to establish a premier boarding facility designed in such a manner that she could leave her own “kids” with complete confidence in their comfort, care, and safety. Thanks to a beautiful facility and especially to a truly INCREDIBLE staff-family, that vision continues to be realized daily.

Cori worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years before coming to Dream Katcher Lodge in 2014. Having always been a huge animal lover, she was ready to get back to doing something she truly enjoys. Cori lives in Maynardville with her husband, two beautiful sons, and three fur babies.
Nancy is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is an avid LSU fan. After spending many years working as a surgical technician in cardiac surgery, she decided to pursue a career with her first love…animals. Since moving to Knoxville she has become a volunteer at Horse Haven of TN. She is married and has a dog of her own who she considers her child.
Although she’s a native of New York, Debbie has lived in East Tennessee for 25 years. This widely-traveled former Medical Assistant has also lived in Texas, Hawaii, and Florida. Debbie has two grown children, one grandchild, and two dogs, a cat, and a Cockatiel (all of the latter are rescues).
Kuddler (Emeritus) 2004
Fran and her husband have three grown children, four grandchildren, and one fur baby. She is full of common sense and a sense of humor and loves animals and people. They have had many dogs and cats during their lives and are animal lovers. Their current baby is a small black lab mix from the Blount County animal shelter. Fran has been on staff at Dream Katcher Lodge since its opening in 2004.
Sam has been a member of the Dream Katcher Lodge family since 2013. She was born in Zurich, Switzerland and has lived in the States for many years. Simon and Phoebe, her two cats, were adopted from a shelter. Her husband is a local guy; they married in 2015.
Born and raised in the Nashville area, Haylie moved to Knoxville in 2013. She is a proud mom of one tiny cat and two dogs (one of which she adopted from a Lodge client). Haylie joined the DKL family in 2016, and as a benefit of her work at the Lodge, she is studying to become a Veterinary Technician. When she’s not studying or working, she enjoys going to the gym and listening to podcasts.
Originally from the mountains of Northeastern PA, Nicole now happily resides in the mountains of East TN. With her two dogs and one guinea pig, she enjoys puppy kuddles and a good book.
Rachel lives in Alcoa with her African Grey Parrot named George and chihuahua named Chico. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from UT, and uses this background in her free time, working as a freelance photojournalist and photographer for musicians and concerts. Rachel discovered her love for animals in high school, volunteering at an animal shelter, and is continuing this passion by working at The Lodge.
Whitney is studying to be a Social Worker, but has worked with animals for several years. She and her husband share their home with a coonhound and two cats. When not studying or working, Whitney likes to cook, hike, and camp.
KAT is originally from Austin, Texas, and moved to Knoxville in 1997. She’s been an animal lover since she could crawl, and is presently “Mom” to two sweet and funny felines. She is a former CNA, and her goal is to become a veterinary technician…to realize her dream of helping animals and their people.
